Messy Church is our regular offering for families. It is monthly on Sundays and provides an informal style of church for all regardless of age. It includes craft activities, as well as games, discussion, singing and stories.
Drinks and biscuits are provided. We have volunteer helpers on hand but ask you to supervise any children that you bring.

Open the book.
This is a national initiative in which some of our members are involved. Essentially there is a local Bible story telling group, which goes into local schools and "performs" assemblies and the like. We also support Hayfield Primary school by providing refreshments at their parents evenings.
Good Friday craft workshops
This is an annual event jointly arranged with Hayfield Christians together. Activity tables each have a supervised Easter craft activity. Participants go from table to table making things to take home. A scratch drama group puts together a sketch for the short family worship that follows. Photographs of recent workshops are here.
Pancake party This popular event is sometimes held near Shrove Tuesday. We play games and enjoy freshly cooked pancakes.
Summer barbeque. This is a favourite usually held annually in summer. A wide range of ages are represented. A few granddads join in the games on the lawn!
Christmas. Our carol service is generally organised by our members and can include drama, Bible readings, poetry, reflections etc.
Visiting professional entertainers, Church socials, and children's film nights are arranged from time to time.
