Mornings at10.45 am. The style is informal within a traditional structure. Details of Messy church and evening services are given on the home page. Our communion services, roughly monthly, have an open table and use non-alcoholic wine. Baptisms, weddings and funerals are arranged with the Circuit superintendent.
Following a recent worship consultation, changes in style are being trialled. These aim to give people the opportunity to use and develop their gifts, and introduce greater variety in our worship. Church Council has also agreed that once a month we will seek to hold worship within our local sheltered housing facility.
In our ecumenical home group we, investigate either a topic or a Bible passage. Details are here. Meetings are both relaxing and fun. From time to time we have a day or evening out together. The picture left shows two of our members admiring the view across Rudyard Lake on our 2015 day out.
Family events suitable for all ages occur from time to time. Full details are here.
We hold a Flower festival each July in conjunction with Hayfield Well Dressings. Many come to and view the chapel at its best and to sample our home made refreshments. Coach parties can be catered for. Click the links below for a photo gallery of recent festivals or visit our Wells/Flowers page.
